The Drift

For six hours, Honey Moon is yours. Twelve guests. Four crew. The endless coast of Barbados — and an unclaimed afternoon that owes nothing to schedules, and asks nothing of you. Somewhere between noon and the golden hour, it occurs to you — you haven’t checked the time since eleven o’clock.

On Your Own Time

We anchor where the coast is quietest. Slip over the side into the path of resident Hawksbills, or drift above a shipwreck reclaimed by the sea. There is no rushing here. Stay until you are ready.

From upon the deck, the scent of barbecue carries across the water and parts the afternoon. Your captain is grilling the day’s catch, to serve family-style alongside classic Bajan seasoned chicken, baked macaroni pie, and rice and peas. It is a menu that belongs to the island, best enjoyed with lingering company.

The bar opens at eleven and the top shelf is all yours. As the light turns gold, claim your sundowner and the cushioned sunbed beneath the mainsail. Settle in, and listen to the gentle sounds of Honey Moon piercing the waters below. This is a summer afternoon entirely on your terms.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Almost certainly. Hawksbill turtles are resident in Barbados year-round and our crew know exactly where to find them. While wildlife can never be guaranteed, it's rare for us to miss them — and when you do find them, you'll be swimming alongside them in calm, clear water rather than watching from a crowded boat.
Wear comfortable beachwear. Bring towels, a hat, and sunglasses. We provide snorkelling equipment, and everything else you need on board.
We depart from the Shallow Draught in Bridgetown. A $15 per person transport fee is added to your booking by default. Our shuttle will pick you up and drop you back at your hotel or villa. Private transport can be arranged for a fee. If you are making your own way, you can Find us on Google Maps.
We recommend booking as early as possible. Our peak season (December to April) often sells out up to 2 months in advance. That said, we'll always do our best to accommodate all requests.
We wouldn't recommend it. While the Shallow Draught is nearby, it's easy to get lost on the way — and you don't want to risk missing your cruise. We offer a shuttle transfer from the cruise terminal for $15 per person. It's a short ride and drops you right where you need to be.
We welcome everyone as they are. If you are a wheelchair user or have other mobility needs, please let us know when you book — or reach out after booking — so we can plan to accommodate you.
Brief tropical showers pass quickly and rarely affect the cruise. In the unlikely event of severe weather, we'll contact you to reschedule at no extra cost.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. If you cancel for any reason more than 48 hours before your tour, you'll receive a full refund. If we have to cancel for any reason, you'll also receive a full refund. If your cruise ship itinerary changes and your ship no longer docks in Barbados, we will refund you in full. More on booking as a cruise ship visitor.
Our premium cruises add Prosecco, Scotch, Tequila, and other premium spirits to the open bar — these aren't available on our standard cruises. You'll also enjoy a trio of desserts after lunch rather than one. The sailing, the snorkelling, the Bajan buffet, and everything else about your day is exactly the same — the premium is simply a little more indulgence.
The 11 O'Clock is our summer-exclusive cruise, sailing only during the summer season and only aboard Honey Moon, the newest catamaran in our fleet. Outside of summer, our Lunch and Afternoon cruises run year-round.
We depart at 11:00 AM from the Shallow Draught in Bridgetown and sail for a full six hours, returning around 5:00 PM. It's our longest cruise — a complete day on the water, with all the time in the world to swim, eat, and unwind.
It's the same beloved itinerary as our classic Lunch Cruise — two snorkel stops, a family-style Bajan lunch, and an open bar all day — with two differences: an extra hour on the water for a fuller day, and it sails exclusively aboard Honey Moon during the summer.
The 11 O'Clock is $250 per person, or $3,000 to take the whole boat privately for up to twelve guests. Both include the full experience — snorkelling, a family-style Bajan lunch, and the open bar. Prices are subject to 2.5% government tax.
Honey Moon — a 50-foot Leopard sailing catamaran and the newest addition to our fleet. She has an upstairs sun deck with a cushioned tanning bed beneath the mainsail, a wide shaded cockpit for dining, and forward trampolines. You can read more on her fleet page.
A fresh family-style Bajan lunch — think seasoned chicken, rice and peas, macaroni pie, garden salad, and fish grilled right there on board. The open bar runs all day: rum punch made with fine Barbadian rum, cocktails, chilled wine, local Banks beer, and soft drinks. We're happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs — just let us know when you book.

What Our Guests Say

We had an AMAZING time and now completely understand why those we were with were all repeat visitors. I can't fathom going back to Barbados and not spending another day with the Silver Moon. The absolute highlight of our trip; I can't recommend them highly enough.
Carrie W. TripAdvisor Review
This was the best catamaran experience my husband and I have ever had and we've been on dozens over the years. The staff was incredible. When the tuna for lunch was grilled on-board I was blown away! We literally want to plan a trip to Barbados just to take this catamaran trip again!!

Silvermoon is our go-to excursion when visiting Barbados. Captain Richard and his crew do an amazing job. The service, food and drinks are wonderful. Having only 12 people on such a large catamaran makes for a great experience. It's like being on a private yacht.
