Capturing Barbados from the Best Seat in the House

The Deck Pass is our content creator programme. It is an invitation to experience a Silver Moon cruise and capture it through your own lens — in exchange for content we can use to share that experience with the world.

We are selective. We offer a limited number of places each year and choose creators whose work reflects the same care, quality, and authenticity we bring to every sailing. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Your Experience

What the Deck Pass Includes

  • A complimentary cruise for two — choose from The Lunch Cruise or The Afternoon Cruise
  • The full Silver Moon experience: open bar, Bajan cuisine, snorkelling with turtles, and expert crew
  • Hotel transfers to and from the Shallow Draught
  • A crew who understand what you need — space, timing, and the occasional pause for the perfect shot
  • The freedom to experience the cruise naturally, exactly as our paying guests do

We do not stage experiences or manufacture moments. You will sail, swim, eat, and drink alongside our other guests. The best content comes from the real thing — and the real thing is what Silver Moon does best.

What We Ask of You

Content Deliverables

Deliver high-quality content within seven days of your cruise. Choose from photo-focused (minimum 10 images), video-focused (one edited video plus 5 images), or a mix of both. We want content that does justice to the experience.

Post and Tag

Share your approved content on your primary platform within seven days. Tag Silver Moon, use a Barbados location tag, and include a link to our website where the platform allows.

Usage Rights

Grant Silver Moon unlimited, perpetual rights to use your content across our website, social channels, print, and advertising. You retain ownership and can use everything on your own channels too.

To confirm your place, we take a small deposit of 10% via credit card. Deliver your content within seven days and it is refunded in full. If content is not delivered, the full cruise price is charged. This protects us both — and in practice, every creator who has joined us has been so keen to share their experience that the deadline has never been an issue.

Eligibility

Who We're Looking For

The Deck Pass is not about follower counts alone. We look for creators whose work we genuinely admire — people who bring craft, taste, and a distinctive eye to everything they produce. If your content makes us want to book the experience ourselves, you are exactly who we are looking for.

That said, we do ask that you meet a few practical criteria to ensure the collaboration is mutually worthwhile.

  • At least 5,000 engaged followers on your primary platform
  • A portfolio of high-quality travel, lifestyle, food, or nautical content
  • An audience primarily based in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, or Caribbean
  • Prior experience working with brands (preferred but not essential)

The Process

From Application to Content

Complete the form below with your details, social profiles, and a brief content proposal. It takes about five minutes.

We Review

Our team reviews every application personally. We will respond within five working days, whether the answer is yes or no.

Confirm Your Place

If accepted, choose your preferred cruise date and confirm with a 10% refundable deposit.

Sail With Us

Experience the cruise as our guest. Our crew will know you are on a Deck Pass and will help where they can.

Create and Share

Post your content within seven days, tag Silver Moon, and send us the original files.

Deposit Returned

Once we have received your content, your deposit is refunded in full. Simple as that.

Frequently Asked

The Deck Pass is a contra arrangement. You receive a complimentary cruise for two in exchange for content. A refundable deposit of 10% is taken at the time of booking to secure your place. This is refunded in full once your content is delivered within seven days of the cruise.
If your agreed content is not posted and the original files not delivered to us within seven calendar days of your cruise, the full retail price of both tickets will be charged to the credit card on file. We communicate this clearly upfront so there are no surprises.
Yes. The Deck Pass includes two complimentary places — one for you and one for a guest of your choosing. Your guest does not need to create content.
You may choose from The Lunch Cruise (5 hours, departing 9 AM) or The Afternoon Cruise (4 hours, departing 2:45 PM). Private charters are not available through the Deck Pass programme.
We accept up to 18 Deck Pass collaborations per calendar year. Once all places are filled, applications will be held for the following year.
We are looking for authentic, high-quality content that captures the Silver Moon experience — the light on the water, the intimacy of twelve guests, the food, the crew, the turtles. We do not want staged or overly produced content. We want it to feel real, because it is.
Yes. You must comply with the advertising disclosure requirements in your jurisdiction (for example, the FTC in the United States or the ASA in the United Kingdom). This typically means including a clear disclosure such as #gifted or #ad in your post.
We consider applications from creators with smaller audiences if their content is exceptionally strong and relevant. A Barbados-based food blogger with 3,000 highly engaged local followers may be a better fit than a general lifestyle account with 50,000 passive ones. Quality always matters more than quantity.
We aim to respond to all applications within five working days. During peak season (December through April), it may take slightly longer.
No. You will be treated exactly like every other guest. Our crew will be discreetly aware and will help facilitate content capture where appropriate, but we never draw attention to it or alter the experience for other guests.
The Deck Pass is available for our scheduled Lunch and Afternoon cruises only. If you are interested in a private charter for content creation, please contact us directly to discuss a bespoke arrangement.
We prefer to hear directly from the creator themselves. If you represent a creator, please ask them to apply through this form so we can assess their work and communicate with them personally.
